Written by the master story teller Thornton Waldo Burgess, the story start with the exploitation of Unc' Billy Possum, who go for egg-hunting to the Farmer Brown’s chicken farm. Though exploited by him, the Green Forest residents warn him not to steal the eggs from the farm. However his overconfidence leads him to commit the mistake and ultimately getting into trouble of being caught, however the escape was not as easy as he thought.
