Russian Fairy Tales: A Collection of Muscovite Folk-lore is a collection of Russian tales compiled by the English writer and Russian scholar William Ralston Shedden-Ralston, who is ed for many translation works such as: The songs of the Russian people, from the writing of Ivan Turgenev's Nest of Gentlefolk as Liza; Krilof and his fables, from the writings of Ivan Andreevich Krylov's two hundred fables.

This collection has been categorically divided into groups of Mythology Stories, Ghost stories, and Legends.  Some of the notable stories in this collection include The dead mother, The Bad wife, The three copecks, The fool and the birch tree, The Baba yaga, The fiddler in hell, The fox-physician, The two corpses, and The soldier and the vampire.
